I've started work on the next chapter of Videl Neko (hooray) and something has come to my attention: I have somewhere to rant! I always have lots of things I want to babble on about in my authors notes, but I just don’t have the space to do it. So, here are some of the many things that mill around in my head to do with my favourite fic...

As it stands, two of my pets have made an appearance in Videl Neko! Yep. I'm not sure how I managed to not put that in the AN in either of their chapters. First, the big black dog Videl meets at the end of chapter 12/ beginning of chapter 13 is Max, my dog. It was hard to involve him really, because I knew he wouldn't hurt a fly (and can't now, the old cutie) and I needed him to instil fear in our best Satan girl. But then, I remember the way cats would act if he chased them (and how he acted when they stopped running and just beat the poop out of him instead) and re-enacted that. The second is Videl's potential prey in chapter 14. Yep, that's my little Myoga!

I'm sad to say Yuki has yet to make an appearance. I must say it's causing a jealousy issue between my two rats...

Another thing: I think I might be leaving Hurcule out of it a little. I mean, as Videl's father he really should have a bigger role in the story. I want to involve him in this next chapter, but I haven't finished planning it all out yet so I'm not sure if he'll make it in (again!). I'm sorry, Hurcule!

Ok, this is part of my next AN, but still: I've been writing Videl Neko for 3 years!!!!!!!!! O_O Omg-ness... I look through all my old ANs and it's like my life story! I mean, my nephew was born in chapter 2... he's 2 this month!!! (Odd coincidence, nay?)


Oh, here's something random and totally not linked: I'm going to be taking a Japanese class! Yep, at my new college you have to take something called "Enrichment classes" and I have the option to take Japanese (for Beginners). So as long as I sign up fast enough I'll be taking it every Wednesday!

I think I may be focusing too much on Videl. I mean, last chapter Gohan only had a brief look-in at the start and that was it! I've just got into the bad habit of focusing nearly all of my attention on Videl. I need to remedy this!!

How many dreams have I written in VN? I seem to have a habit of shoving them in for some inane reason. I mean, I've had at least one so far and there was one in Cloud Kisses... it's hardly displaying good imagination, is it?

I suppose there isn't much more of the story to go now. That makes me kind of sad. Actually, I can't imagine life without VN! It has been 3 years after all! But I can't see there being any more than 3/4 chapters left to go now... sob...

Hmm, ran out of rants. And I need to get to bed anyway. I may have first period off, but I'll still need to be up for the 8:30 train!
